TSMSS - Psalm 1 - Tree replanted in Eden...

Instead you thrill to God's Word,
you chew on Scripture day and night.
You're a tree replanted in Eden,
      bearing fresh fruit every month,
   Never dropping a leaf,
      always in blossom.

 (Psalm 1:2-3 The Message)

This 'replanting' can only happen if:

2But her (Sita's) delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) she habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.
3And she shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything she does shall prosper [and come to maturity]
(Psalm 1:2-3 The Amplified Bible)

May it be so, my Lord.

Psalm 1 and 2 set the tone for all of the Psalms, don't they? You wonder what David sang them to. But it's important for me to do what you've done and relate it to myself.

Hi Sita,
Great photo, and yet again, I love the way the Amplified Bible adds so much depth to the verse.
The streams of water are of course streams of living water - the Holy Spirit, who bears fruit in our lives.

Oh, I got your message too. Sorry about the old posts on my blog, but I've been trying to work out what direction to take it in. I still have the old posts in a Word doc, if you would like me to send them to you.

God bless
