Prayer support needed...

Calling all prayer warriors...
The Ratanak Foundation has been working in Cambodia since 1990. Each year the Ratanak Foundation's representatives, friends and partners have travelled to Cambodia to serve the people of Cambodia. This Mission Blog highlights the journeys of the team members who seek to see God's kingdom come in Cambodia.

On July 14th, 2009, a group from Toronto, including my sister, Vidya, will be going for 3 weeks to minister in Cambodia, specifically with the young girls forced into sex trafficking. The leader, Lisa says...

We value your prayers for we know they will be like arrows shot into the heart of rape, destruction, and evil. For you will be interceding on behalf of innocence, justice, and righteousness and most of all, joining forces with the One who loves these young lives and who would choose to be abused and beaten for them. Indeed He did that and much more. He died for them but through His resurrection they too may rise again from the pit of shame, guilt, pain and trauma and experience new life in Him! A life filled with new dreams and possibilities to become all who He intended and designed them to be! A life that ultimately will reflect His beauty, His glory and the power of His redeeming love. Thank you for taking this time to read this prayer letter and for standing in the gap for us.

Please follow their journey and updated prayer requests on their mission blog and send your comments and or prayers to encourage them along. They have all been embattled as they take this step to advance God's kingdom in a place of darkness. Your prayers are vital.

A blog friend is visiting Thailand and he also went into Cambodia and wrote about the human trafficking there and what poverty is driving women and children to do.
Praise God for people like these saints.

Got your email.
