Blogathon2012: #10 - Freedom and Delight

Philippians 1:6 (Amplified Bible)

⁶ And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

This afternoon I attended a healing service in which I was prayed over for depression. 3 people got a 'picture' while praying. God had placed a white sheet over me, a radiant white sheet, and all the 'curses' and bad words that had been hurled at me were stopped and demolished by this sheet, including the legacy of depression from ancestors who were wounded by others. Another person added that the sheet was like the hem of the garment that Jesus wore when the sick woman touched it. There was power. And the third person said that Jesus would ever so often pull the sheet up from my face and look into my eyes playfully, like that childish game of peek-a-boo, to show me He delights in me. I grasped at the words: FREE; He DELIGHTS in ME.

I will continue to seek and reinforce and reaffirm His Word to me and walk in obedience.
