Let us break Bread together...

**Community thus far:
Amrita - India
Sita - Canada
Lidia - Phillipines
===============================

Today, Holy Thursday, is marked by many Christians around the world in celebrating communion, remembering the Last Supper before the crucifixion of our Lord. (Our church will have communion tomorrow on Good Friday.)

On
Amrita's blog, she featured the song, Let Us Break Bread Together. I would like to join as a community of believers around the world in singing this. Here is another version.

Perhaps another blogger in another part of the world would like to join this 'global community' and post this song as well.

Oh, Sita! This is beautiful. I used to take care of an elderly African-American couple and LOVED going to their church on special occasions. This video brought back precious memories for me. I love you dearly, precious friend - I pray you and your family have a wonderful Easter weekend.

Thank you for sharing The Ragman. Ive heard of Walter Wangerin and read his little book Lament for a Son, but I never heard The Ragman before.

And thank you for inviting others to post the song Let Us Break Bread Together.

What a significant act of UNITED LOVE, a fitting response to the death of our Savior Jesus... an event we commemorate today, Good Friday. I will post it today on my blog.

Though we have not met face to face, I feel that our spirits are one before God's universal throne of grace.
