The Earth is the Lord's...

Psalm 24:1 (The Holy Bible, NIV)
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it,
       the world, and all who live in it;

Who Am I (Casting Crowns)

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You're

Chorus:
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours

Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours

This is a beautiful hymn, Sita. It's the first time I've heard it. I'll have to check out their music.

All around us, everyday, we are reminded about God's power and strength via his creation. We would do better to pay closer attention... his fingerprints are all around us, giving evidence to his existence and presence in this world.

Blessings and peace to you this weekend, friend. Love the pictures you've posted here, as well as the song. Keeps me mindful of who I am in relation to who my God IS!

Beautiful, Sita! Yes, I ask myself that question. Who am I that He would love me so? In myself, I know the answer: no one special. But, He loves me anyway.

What a moving song, and what inspiring images! "The earth is the Lord's." Powerful!

Much love, and blessings to you,

Andrea

Oh I love this song. I listen to it often.

Really humbles you to know that the Lord of the universe is mindful of you.
Lotsa love

Love the songs you share on your blog...and I did visit the one you mentioned in your comment.

O the Deep Deep Love of Jesus has always been one of my favorites...and never realized it does talk about heaven!

Dear Sita...you have a deep heart, and I do wish someday that we could meet each other face to face.

Praying for you today...

Lidj, I wish I could see you too...in AMrita's last post she spoke about seeing God in the 'small' things in our daily lives--and I just thought about your blog--how you share all the details in pics--both you and Amrita-- and how you allow us to see God in everything..
thank you so much.
Love, Sita
(appreciate the prayer!)
