Beth points out the steps we should take each morning to have a victorious day:
1. Acknowledge God's authority.
His will or mine today? A day unsurrendered to Him will by default operate in the flesh.
2. Abound in His Presence.
Emptied of your will, ask His Spirit to fill you. Cleansing + yielding = Filling.
3. Ask to see His glory and power.
Jeremiah 29:13 says "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Only then will you see His Hand in the daily grind of life.
4. Award Him with your mouth.
Pray for a mouth that glorifies Him all day long.
5. Approach Him with praise.
Praise Him for Who He is even when circumstances do not give evidence of His Presence. Many people use 'praise and worship' music to fill their ears and mind with praise which then comes through the mouth.
6. Attribute all satisfaction to Him!
Only He can satisfy. Our consumeristic society continually feeds us dissatisfaction with who we are, what we look like, what we have. In Christ, we are satisfied.
7. Audit the manifold blessings.
Recount His faithfulness to you. That is the most awesome legacy you can leave to your children - your history with God. You will be reminded and they will know that because He cared yesterday and today, He will care tomorrow.
8. Allow yourself to rest in His arms.
Psalm 4:8 says, I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Release all to Him and just rest in Him. Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
What will be the living proof?
But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

This is a great list of steps to take each and every morning. How can we not have God-filled days if we would remember to do these each day first thing?!
