Blogathon2012: #2 - Present In the Drought: My Comfort

Isaiah 58:11

Amplified Bible (AMP)
11And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

Again, my Scripture reading is pointing me to my future hope, "shall be like a watered garden". I rather like that thought.
But it also points out that He "shall guide me continually..in the drought."
That means that His Presence is present even when He appears absent. This brings me comfort.

So, listen to Christy Nockles sing "Waiting Here For You" and let us wait in expectation for Him to reveal His Presence when He sees fit.

If faith can move the mountains
Let the mountains move
We come with expectation
Waiting here for you, I’m waiting here for you

You’re the Lord of all creation
And still you know my heart
The Author of Salvation
You’ve loved us from the start

CHORUS
Waiting here for You
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
Singing Alleluia

You are everything You’ve promised
Your faithfulness is true
And we're desperate for Your presence
All we need is You

CHORUS
Singing Alleluia
Alleluia, singing alleluia, alleluia

CHORUS
Waiting here for you
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
We're singing Alleluia

I'm singing Alleluia
Waiting here for you
With our hands lifted high in praise
And it's You we adore
Singing Alleluia
Singing Alleluia
