Psalm 97:1 (Amplified Bible)
THE LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad!
What an absolutely wonderful day. No sleep last night and started trip to final Bible quizzing meet for the year at 5:15am. Great drive although I am glad I did not have to drive as my eyes were really heavy at times.
So I've spent the day in the Kawarthas. So beautiful. As the day went by, I literally felt the stress of city living and my specific burdens just falling away. No clouds. Just joy and peace and contentment.
If God should ever grant me financial resources, I would love to treat families who can never afford to travel outside the city to spend some time near the lakes, so that they too can be refreshed, body, soul and spirit. I can thank God that we could do this for one day at least.
And it was so good to see my husband relaxing, and my sons having such great fun. Daniel rocked his last quiz and was in the C-Finals. Nathan just rocked like he always does(;
So today, I am SO very grateful for a break.
